Kanika Gandhi was born and raised in India and moved to Victoria, BC as a new immigrant in 2013. She began her career as a Physical Therapist in Canada in 2014 after completing her education in India, earning a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2010 and a Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy in 2012. As a new immigrant, Kanika explored a few cities before settling in Surrey, BC. She spent some time in Victoria and later in Edmonton, where she worked as a physiotherapist. Her areas of expertise include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, concussion management, vestibular therapy, and dry needling. Kanika enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life who are dedicated to achieving their fitness goals. She has treated a wide range of injuries, including work-related injuries, car accidents, repetitive strain injuries, and sports injuries. Her approach to treatment is thorough, starting with a detailed assessment and evaluation. She believes in educating clients about the root cause of their symptoms and how to manage them. Kanika is always open to questions and enjoys explaining the reasoning behind her treatments. You can expect a variety of engaging exercise routines during your sessions with her, as she firmly believes that physical activity is the best medicine a physical therapist can offer! Outside of work, Kanika is a proud mother of two young children and loves spending time with them. If she's not at the clinic, you'll likely find her at the local parks playing hide-and-seek with her kids.
