Driven by her own experiences as a former competitive athlete and her desire to help others overcome physical challenges, Alyssa pursued her dream of becoming a Physical Therapist and graduated from the Master's in Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta. Alyssa strongly believes that movement is medicine, and she strives to educate and empower her patients to incorporate therapeutic exercises into their daily lives to promote long-term health and wellness. Alyssa uses exercise-based therapy and manual techniques to assist her patients in reaching their goals. Whether it's rehabilitating a sports injury, helping our pediatric population meet their developmental motor milestones, improving mobility in seniors, or enhancing performance in elite athletes, Alyssa employs a personalized approach tailored to each individual's unique needs and aspirations. Alyssa specializes in pediatrics, however has a keen interest in working with those of all ages and abilities. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes not only the alleviation of symptoms but also the promotion of long-term wellness and functional independence.
