Painful Conditions our WCB Physiotherapy Treats

Workplace injuries can vary widely, from sprains and strains to more severe injuries like fractures or chronic pain conditions. Our WCB physiotherapy service is designed to help you recover from these injuries by providing personalized care that promotes healing. Whether you’re dealing with pain from repetitive strain, a fall, or an accident, we focus on reducing pain, restoring movement, and preventing further injury. With our home-based physiotherapy, you receive the care you need without the added stress of traveling, making your recovery that much easier.

Depending on the severity, these injuries can require extensive physiotherapy for rehabilitation to regain function, mobility, and strength.

Often caused by sudden impacts (like a car accident on the job) but can also occur from repetitive stress or poor ergonomics. Physiotherapy includes neck strengthening, mobility exercises, and pain management techniques.

Common in physically active jobs, physiotherapy helps with strengthening, balance, and restoring mobility after an ankle injury.

Often result from twisting motions or heavy lifting, causing knee pain and instability. Rehabilitation typically involves exercises to strengthen the muscles around the knee, restore joint stability, and improve mobility.

Common in physically demanding jobs that involve heavy lifting, twisting, or falling. Common areas include the ankle, knee, and wrist. Physiotherapy helps with stabilization exercises, strength building, and restoring range of motion.

Often caused by poor posture, lifting heavy objects improperly, repetitive bending, or sitting for long periods without proper ergonomics. Physiotherapy can help with posture correction, strengthening, and conditioning.

    How our process works

Our mobile physiotherapy services are tailored for your convenience, delivering treatment directly to you—whether at your home, independent living facility, or workplace. This eliminates the necessity for you to commute to a clinic, ensuring easier access to the treatment you require.

    How Physical Therapy Can Help

Physical therapy plays a key role in the recovery process after a workplace injury. It helps to improve flexibility, strength, and mobility, which are often affected by injury or long periods of inactivity. Our physiotherapists work with you to build a tailored exercise program that addresses your specific injury, whether it’s a strain, sprain, or more complex condition. We also provide guidance on posture, body mechanics, and exercises that you can continue at home to support long-term recovery.

At InHome Physical Therapy, we understand the challenges of recovering from a work-related injury. That’s why our physiotherapists take the time to get to know your situation, helping you progress at a pace that feels right for you. By focusing on personalized care and offering services right in your home, we aim to make your recovery process as smooth and comfortable as possible, while working towards your return to work.

We understand the unique challenges faced by WCB patients and are dedicated to helping you restore your independence and improve your quality of life. If you need more information on the steps to take following a work place injury, please visit our additional resource page.

    Testimonials from our Clients

Hear directly from our satisfied clients about their experiences with our mobile physiotherapy services and the positive impact it had on their recovery and overall well-being.

My father is in a long term care facility, and we were finding the time allotted by the facility was not enough, nor focused enough to be effective in our opinion. I saw an InHome Physical Therapy vehicle in the parking lot one day, and made an inquiry. They got back to me that same day, and booked an initial appointment to assess my father and his needs. Troy was early for his appointment, was very professional, and was able to come up with a focused plan for extra therapy that gave my father some hope, and a renewed focus on improving his abilities. Am extremely impressed with this program.

I booked InHome physio for my > 90-year-old mother twice. One time when she hurt her knee in a freak accident, and just recently, after a partial hip replacement. Both physiotherapists. (Mike the first time and Brennan now) have been absolutely awesome. My Mom really likes them and they are keen on getting her independent and so are fully engaged even though she is elderly. So often, people don't put their best effort into supporting the elderly, but these gentlemen are very dedicated to their patients regardless of their age. Mom says thank you!

This was the first time I had a massage prior to my back surgeries in 2023. It is difficult to find a therapist who will come to the house. Getting out for appts is difficult. I waited awhile for a massage spot to open, but it was worth the wait! My body was sore and having spasms constantly. My massage helped so much with the knots in my legs. The hour went by too fast. I am looking forward to my next massage. Very experienced therapist!!
