COVID Safety Measures
Updated February 18, 2021
After carefully reviewing our new guidelines laid out by local health authorities the InHome therapy team will continue to meet and exceed all of the recommendations and requirements and we will continue to provide all of our physiotherapy services. We would like to thank our staff and patients for their continued trust and support as we very carefully navigate this pandemic to be sure that you, our patients, are able to safely receive all of the physiotherapy services, within your living environment, that you are in need of. Your pain, mobility and recovery needs are of the utmost importance to us and we are so happy to be able to continue helping our old and new clients to achieve your goals through your physiotherapy treatments! If you have any questions about our services, how we can help you, and how we are navigating our operations at this time please reach out to our office!
Thank you,
InHome Management team
Safety Measures
Be sure to follow all local Edmonton, Calgary & Lower Mainland and provincial Alberta & BC public health measures in effect. If you are feeling unwell or have been in close contact with someone who is sick, we ask that you reschedule your appointment.
We will be taking all measures recommended by local health authorities for infection prevention and control. This will help to keep you safe, but will not change how our therapists will provide your treatments.
These measures include
- a number of screening questions prior to your initial appointment
- the use of some personal protective equipment such as a mask worn by our therapists and our patients
- an enhanced hand washing routine for both our staff and our patients
- a call from your treating therapist before your first appointment just to see how you are feeling
We are also asking all of our patients to be prepared for our arrival into your home with a space available for us to set up our treatment table (if being used) so that no unnecessary areas of your home are being accessed by our therapists.
Social Distancing
We also recognize that you may feel hesitant to engage in physiotherapy services because we have all been practicing social distancing and continue to do so. It is because of our great job at following our Health Ministers’ directions that we are in a place to be able to be open at this time. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Please know that we take your safety seriously and are here to ensure that our patients and anyone in pain has access to safe treatment and the best care possible. We also know that your pain, injuries, and mobility issues can not be put on pause and we are eager to help you to move past these issues now!
Together we will get through this and we will all be better, stronger, and in less pain!
